2011 NBA Playoffs: Scores And Schedule

Stay connected for news and updates

The Dallas Mavericks lost last night to the Portland Trail Blazers, losing 97-92 and giving Portland some hope in the series. Dallas remains in charge with a two games to one series advantage, but the win for Portland at least gives them hope. Still, Dallas is in a nice position and will look to take a 3-1 series lead on Saturday.

Two other games took place last night, and both of those games were Eastern Conference affairs. Not surprisingly, the Bulls bested the Pacers 88-84, giving Chicago a 3-0 series advantage. Indiana has played the Bulls tough in each of the three games and has nothing to show for it - I fully expect the Bulls to finish this in four.

The other game last night again resulted in a 3-0 series lead, in this instance for the Miami Heat. The Heat handled the 76ers, winning 100-94 and will look to clinch the series in just four games.

Three games will take place tonight in the NBA. The Knicks, trailing in the series 2-0, host the Boston Celtics. The Hawks and the Magic will play game three tonight in Atlanta - that series is all tied up at one. And finally, in the Western Conference, the Hornets host the Lakers with that series tied at one as well.

Idle the last two days have been the Spurs and Grizzles, who will play their Game 3 on Saturday night.
