Week 2 of the NFL Power Rankings on SB Nation sees the Dallas Cowboys at No. 12 following a big road win over the New York Giants.
Following last Wednesday night's 24-17 win over the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys were sure to see a bump in the Power Rankings. Indeed, Big D got a big bump in the SB Nation rankings, jumping to No. 12 from No. 15 in the Week 2 rankings.
NFL Editor Joel Thorman on the Cowboys:
12. Dallas Cowboys (LW: 15, 1-0): Big time W for Big D in Week 1. The NFC East is so, so wide open. You can make an easy case for any of the four teams to take it, including the Cowboys.
How does Dallas fare among the other power rankings across the Web? NFL.com has the 'Boys at No. 9, but CBS seems to love America's Team more than the rest, putting them solidly at No. 6, a big jump up from No. 14.
The Cowboys look to improve to 2-0 and, more importantly, keep climbing the Power Rankings when they travel to the Pacific Northwest on Sunday to face the Seattle Seahawks (No. 26 in the SB Nation rankings).
