Cuts are approaching for the Dallas Cowboys, and there could be a lot fewer CBs on the squad come next Monday.

With training camps almost finished and the preseason rolling along as the NFL works toward getting to the regular season, teams are going to start having to make tough roster decisions as cuts begin to approach. The first such round of cuts will take place on Monday, as teams cut down to 75 players.

Dallas is currently sitting at 88 players after two recent releases, which means they will need to knock off 13 of their players to meet the cut.

Cowboys blog Blogging The Boys predicts a handful of cornerbacks, including some veteran talent, may be the ones on the way out in the round of cuts. CJ Wilson, a four year veteran who has played mostly with the Panthers, will join Akwasi Owusu-Ansah and Teddy Williams on the chopping block if they are correct in their predictions:

Veteran Wilson put up a good fight, but the Cowboys are simply too deep at CB (did I just write that?)
