Dallas Cowboys Training Camp: Jason Witten Feels Time 'Going Fast'

Headed into his tenth season with the Dallas Cowboys, TE Jason Witten looks poised to one day be enshrined in Canton.

However, in a conversation with MySA.com, the long-time All-Pro said that he won't be satisfied until he achieves more team success in the NFL:

"It goes fast," Witten said of his NFL career, "and I will be damned if I let this opportunity slip by and not come away with a championship. It's been a heck of a run, but it's time we grab it."

The sure-handed Witten has been called QB Tony Romo's safety blanket, and in his first nine seasons with the Cowboys, he's caught 696 passes for 7,909 yards and 41 TD's.

At 6'6 261, his versatility makes him a defensive nightmare, as he's equally capable of sealing the edge as a blocker on the line or splitting out to the wide receiver position and running deep pass patterns.

Now, at the age of 30, he's closer to end of his career than the beginning, and if he can help carry Dallas to another Super Bowl title, he may go down as the greatest TE in franchise history.
