Adam Schefter Says Dallas Cowboys Could Go To Super Bowl

It's easy to see the Dallas Cowboys have made some improvements in areas of need from last season, while also banking on a healthier Tony Romo and Dez Bryant going into the 2012 season.

Adam Schefter answers questions from football fans via mailbag and this was one Q&A suggesting the Boys are Super Bowl caliber if healthy. Most experts would likely agree:

Q: With Morris Claiborne and Brandon Carr in the secondary, along with a healthy Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, what do you think are realistic expectations for the Dallas Cowboys in 2012?

-- Kevin (New Mexico)

A: High, Kevin, very high. This team is capable of going to the Super Bowl if it can stay healthy. I've always felt the Cowboys had more talent than their results indicated. It has been a long wait for this franchise and its fans to make some real meaningful playoff noise. But it added some key pieces this offseason, and there's no reason the Cowboys shouldn't be right there. People forget that last season, had Tony Romo simply completed that long pass to Miles Austin against the Giants, it's possible Dallas would have won the division and knocked the eventual world champion Giants out of a playoff spot. So they can't be that far off. The Cowboys just need to stay healthy and need some breaks, like any team.
