NFL Draft Grades: Cowboys Earn An 'A' For Morris Claiborne

The team over at SB Nation's NFL page have conferred, and they've got their way-too-early grades for the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, with the Cowboys among only five teams earning an 'A' for their first round work:

Cowboys: I'm usually not a fan of trading up for a position other than quarterback. The Cowboys moved up from 14 to 6 but only paid the price of a second rounder, which is cheaper than usual, to pick up the top player at a premium position. After signing Brandon Carr in free agency, the Cowboys have a ton of potential in that secondary.

It's interesting to note that the rival Redskins are among the five 'A' teams as well for their no-brainer pick of Robert Griffin III at No. 2, while the rest of the NFC East (the Eagles and Giants) earned a 'B.' Granted, there's only eight teams in the entire league that had a first round pick who were graded average or worse, but it means that after one day of the 2012 NFL Draft, the NFC East isn't getting any easier.
