2012 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys Going With Michael Brockers

Stay connected for news and updates

The Dallas Cowboys are picking LSU Tigers defensive tackle Michael Brockers in with the 14th pick in the latest SB Nation NFL Mock Draft.

Dallas has been thinking defensively this offseason, as evident with moves of franchising Anthony Spencer the signing of Brandon Carr and Brodney Pool to play in their secondary. This is what SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber had to say about the Brockers pick for the Cowboys:

"Some still think of Brockers as the best defensive lineman in the draft. Rankings aside, he has everything needed to be a difference maker in the pros. Dallas can also afford to ease his transition into the starting lineup."

Brockers is ranked as the second best player at his position by NFLDraftScout.com and the 14th best player in the draft.
