Former Dallas Cowboys ILB Bradie James has officially moved on, agreeing to terms with the Houston Texans on Thursday:

James' familiarity with Texans DC Wade Phillips' defensive schemes undoubtedly played a role in the move, but he's no longer the player Phillips remembers being when he was the Cowboys head coach from 2007-2010.

A fourth round pick in the 2003 Draft, James emerged as one of the leaders of the Cowboys defense, starting ever game from 2005-2010 while averaging over 100 tackles a season.

However, at the age of 31, the 6'2 250 LB seemed to slow down last season, as Dallas pulled him off the field in nearly every passing situation. As a result, his production fell off a cliff, as James had only 44 tackles and 1 pass deflection.

And with the signing of Dan Connor in the off-season, the Cowboys no longer had much room for James on their roster.
