With the signing, Carr will instantly be the Cowboys new lock down cornerback. After 9 seasons the Dallas Cowboys parted ways with Terence Newman, and the Cowboys will rely on Carr to continue the defending that he did in the AFC West. Carr was drafted by the Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft, and many believe that Carr is ready to breakout into the upper echelon of defensive backs in the league.
