Cowboys vs. Bengals injury report: DeMarco Murray limited, Nate Livings sits

Charlie Peprah, Jay Ratliff and Orlando Scandrick also didn't participate in Thursday's practice.

The Dallas Cowboys' injury situation at the running back position continues to improve. Ahead of their Sunday matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals, running back DeMarco Murray was back in practice Thursday, albeit in a limited fashion. Murray continues to deal with a foot injury. Both Miles Austin and Felix Jones were full participants in practice while dealing with a hip and knee injury, respectively.

There is a little bad news offensively though. Offensive guard Nate Livings sat out of practice with a knee injury. Livings has started every game this season for the Cowboys after coming over from the Bengals where he didn't miss a game in two straight seasons.

Defensively things aren't any better for the Cowboys. Safety Charlie Peprah sat out of practice for the second straight day with a foot injury. Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand) also didn't practice for the second straight day.

The Cowboys are stuck in a logjam of teams in the NFC at 6-6, sitting one game behind the Seattle Seahawks for the final playoff spot.
