Fantasy football Week 13: Cowboys can help you

Tom Pennington

Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are must-starts in Week 13, as the regular season in fantasy football comes to a close.

If you're like me, then this is it -- this is the final week of the regular season of fantasy football. If you're like me, then you're praying you win this week, and hoping you make the playoffs.

Hopefully, you're not like me, and hopefully, you've secured a playoff berth.

If not, the Dallas Cowboys are here to help you in Week 13.

As always, you should start Tony Romo. Romo, for as much crap as he's been given, is a very good fantasy option, and the Cowboys have the No. 2 ranked passing offense in the NFL, averaging 296.9 yards per game through the air. That's not too shabby.

Unless you've got somebody like Tom Brady hanging around, start Romo.

At running back, it's a bit more muddy. Jerry Jones expects DeMarco Murray to return, but with a questionable tag, it's unknown how much Murray would play. Still, it's doubtful you have a better option than Murray, so start Murray apprehensively in Week 13 -- but consider him more an RB2 than an RB1.

Dez Bryant, as always, is a must-start and should be considered a WR1 at this point. Miles Austin, questionable for the game, should be considered a fringe WR2, and a solid WR3/ flex play.

At tight end, Jason Witten should be active in all formats.
