Cowboys vs. Eagles score update: Dallas, Philadelphia tied, 7-7, after 1st quarter

In a battle of teams trying to stay in the NFC East race, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are tied, 7-7, after one quarter at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles opened the scoring with a two-yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick to Riley Cooper. The score capped a 10-play, 81-yard drive that took 5:07 off the clock. Dallas answered with a long, methodical drive of its own, marching 80 yards in 13 plays and 7:40. Tony Romo completed an 11-yard pass to Felix Jones to even the score.

Romo was nearly perfect in the first quarter, completing 5-of-6 passes for 34 yards and the touchdown. He compiled a passer rating of 129.9. In addition to his touchdown catch, Jones rushed five times for 30 yards. Tight end Jason Witten led Dallas receivers in the first quarter with two catches for 13 yards.

Vick was 4-of-6 for 59 yards and a score in the first 15 minutes. Eagles running back LeSean McCoy gained 15 yards on five carries, and DeSean Jackson caught two passes for 40 yards.
