Cowboys vs. Ravens: Lawrence Vickers and Ray Lewis talking trash

The Dallas Cowboys running game has struggled to get going all season, and according to Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, there's little chance that changes when the two teams face each other this Sunday in Baltimore (via The Dallas Morning News):

"They can look to do whatever they want to do, but it ain't going to be what they think it's going to be," Lewis said.

When Cowboys fullback Lawrence Vickers was told of the brash statement, he fired back with some words of his own:

"That's just the way he feels. I don't remember him being a Houdini or anything like that. He's entitled to his own opinion. And if that's how he feels, that's cool, too. Kudos to him."

Vickers, who has a history playing against Lewis, went on to say that he's always ready for every challenge and that big names like Lewis do not scare him.

The Cowboys currently average a paltry 67.8 yards on the ground, which checks in at 29th in the NFL. DeMarco Murray leads the team with just 237 yards rushing, and Felix Jones is next in line with a measly 13 yards for the season.

Meanwhile, the Ravens have not been all that stout against the run, giving up 118.4 yards per game. That's good for just 20th in the NFL. They were gouged for 214 rushing yards last week in their 9-6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
