2012 Pro Bowl: NFC Roster Has Only Two Dallas Cowboys

DeMarcus Ware and Jay Ratliff are the only Dallas players making the trip to Honolulu, the fewest number of Cowboys in the Pro Bowl since 2003.

After a disappointing 8-8 season which featured several embarrassing performances on national TV as well as their customary December swoon, the Dallas Cowboys will only have two players on the 2012 Pro Bowl, which will be held in Honolulu on Sunday Jan. 29.

It's the lowest number of Pro Bowlers for Dallas since 2003, as not a single Cowboys offensive player was chosen among the NFC's best.

Both of Dallas' representatives -- OLB DeMarcus Ware and DT Jay Ratliff -- come from the defensive side of the ball.

Ware, a dominant 6'4 260 pass rusher who had 19.5 sacks this season, three behind Michael Strahan's single-season record, is making his sixth consecutive trip to Hawaii.

Ratliff, one of the best interior defensive lineman in the league despite being only 6'2 290, is making his fourth-consecutive trip.

They've usually been joined by Tony Romo and Jason Witten at the Pro Bowl, but a strong group of QB's (Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Eli Manning) and TE's (Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez) on playoff teams beat them out this season.

The 6:00 PM game will be broadcast nationally on NBC.
