Jerry Jones: Jason Garrett's Job Is Safe Regardless Of Sunday's Outcome

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is known to make brash statements and bold moves during his tenure as owner of the Cowboys. The Cowboys have underachieved this year by losing games they probably should have won, but there is always the question about Jason Garrett's future as the head coach of the Cowboys.

Jones was asked that question once again during his weekly radio show about if there was a possibility of a coaching change if the Cowboys lost Sunday against the New York Giants:

"That's just ridiculous. We're just getting started with Jason," Jerry Jones said on 105.3 FM. "It's just not the case at all. Nobody is worried about the coach's job here. We'll answer this thing as many ways as you want to answer it with as many circumstances, his job has no bearing and is not a part of this ballgame. Yes, he's going to be our coach next year period no matter what the score is."

Garrett has only been on the job for just over a year and has a winning record to his name, plus Jones upped Garrett's salary to convince him to not take the Baltimore Ravens job back in 2008 make this reoccurring question actually quite ridiculous.
