The Cowboys' 2012 Schedule Is Going To Be Tough

While the Cowboys 2011 season still could end with a playoff berth, it's never too early to look ahead toward next year. Dallas' 2012 schedule is almost set in stone, but not quite. Todd Archer over at ESPN Dallas has the details:

Home - New Orleans, Tampa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Green Bay (if first), Detroit (if second) or Chicago (if third).

↵

Away - Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore, Cincinnati and San Francisco (if first), Seattle or Arizona. The Cardinals and Seahawks are 7-8 entering the final week.

No, the Cowboys won't have to head on the road to New England, or take two trips to New Jersey next year, but the schedule does look to be somewhat difficult -- especially if they defeat the Giants on Sunday. Home games against New Orleans, Pittsburgh and possibly Green Bay to go along with road games in Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore and possibly San Francisco or Seattle?

While we don't know exactly how good the Cowboys, or any of these teams will be next year, it does look like next year's schedule will be pretty tough for Jason Garrett's squad.
