Kevin Kolb Injury Update: Cardinals QB Will Play Sunday After Missing Four Games

After missing four weeks with a foot injury, injured Arizona Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb is expected to start on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Kolb, a Texas native who played at the University of Houston in college and was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, has had an up-and-down season in his first year as an NFL starter.

The 6'3 220 QB, a four-year NFL veteran, has completed 56.8% of his passes for 1,708 yards, 8 TD's and 8 INT's.

He has much better statistics than backup QB John Skelton, but the Cardinals are 3-1 in Skelton's starts and only 1-6 in Kolb's.

But a Dallas secondary that has given up big days to Rex Grossman and Matt Moore in consecutive weeks might be an excellent "get better" present for Kolb.

Larry Fitzgerald, a 6'3 220 deep threat, is the same type of big, athletic receiver (Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall) that has given the Cowboys' undersized CB's problems this season.
