The start of the third quarter did not start well for the Dallas Cowboys as they were backed up inside their own eight-yard line when Tampa Bay's Adrian Clayborn sacked and force a Tony Romo fumble which was scooped up by Dekoda Watson who scored the first touchdown on the night for the Buccaneers.
The Cowboys offense on a whole took a big step back from their first half performance and that has been a trend all season for the Cowboys. In the third quarter Dallas was only able to put three points on the board on a 30 yard Dan Bailey field goal.
The Buccaneers also put up an offensive touchdown and a two-point conversion to cut into the Cowboys led and make the score 31-15. The touchdown came on a 13-yard pass from Josh Freeman to Dezmon Briscoe and then the two-point conversion was a pass to tight end Kellen Winslow.
