Defensive standouts LaRon Landry and London Fletcher were both held out of practice Wednesday by the Washington Redskins, as they prepare to face off versus their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.
Landry, the safety from LSU, missed Wednesday's practice with an Achilles' injury, per the Redskins' official Twitter feed reports. Landry's been dealing with the achilles' injury for over the past week, but he was fit enough to play last Sunday, recording seven tackles against Miami.
Like Landry, Fletcher also played through a nagging injury, the hamstring, last week and also recorded seven tackles. The veteran linebacker has been in the league a long time, so this should be considered a day of rest for Fletcher, and should be on the field ready to go Sunday versus Dallas.
