Felix Jones Will Be Out Two To Four Weeks With A High Ankle Sprain

Starting running back Felix Jones just got back in the lineup this past week after recovering from separating his right shoulder. Jones was knocked out of the game when he suffered a high-ankle sprain in the second quarter this past weekend against the Patriots when he caught a 7-yard pass.

Jones was seen wearing a walking boot on Monday and will be out for at least two weeks and possibly could be out a month. The earliest that Jones could be back would be Nov. 6 when the Cowboys host the Seattle Seahawks if the injury does keep him out a month then his return would be against the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 13.

With Jones out the carries are going to be split between rookie DeMarco Murray and Tashard Choice. When Jones left the Patriots game it was Murray who was getting the bulk of the carries.
