Perry Jones, Quincy Miller Sliding On Draft Boards

While Baylor's two young forwards have as much pure talent as anyone in the draft, their relative lack of production for the Bears last season has made their workouts with NBA teams essential.

Unfortunately, according to ESPN Insider Chad Ford, those workouts aren't going too well:

Perry Jones, Tony Wroten, Quincy Miller all sliding right now. Huge talents. All have some pretty glaring flaws and just aren't wowing the way they need to at camp and workouts.

For Jones, the glaring flaw is probably his lack of a defined offensive position, as NBA teams may view him as similar to former Woodrow Wilson standout Anthony Randolph: a jack of all trades but a master of none. Randolph, despite being a wondrously talented 6'11+ forward, has struggled to establish a defined role in five seasons in the league.

Miller, on the other hand, needs to convince scouts that his skinny 6'10 frame can withstand punishment at the next level after he played most of his freshman season on only one good knee.
