Baylor tackle Robert T. Griffin (no, the other Robert Griffin) was selected by the New York Jets with the 203rd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft on Saturday, joining teammate Terrance Ganaway in New York, who was drafted immediately before the 2011 All-Big 12 first team offensive lineman.

Griffin (6-foot-6, 330 pounds) was a 12-time starter at right guard in 2011, totaling 72 pancake blocks, and played in all 13 games in 2010 at right tackle, starting 10 contests. While a senior at Trinity High School (Euless, TX), Griffin was part of a 15-1 Division I state championship squad under Coach Steve Lineweaver, then spent two years at Navarro College before joining the Bears.
