The final mock draft of the 2012 NFL Draft is up at SB Nation, and the Dallas Cowboys are projected to take LSU defensive lineman Michael Brockers and not Alabama safety Mark Barron, although Dallas is considered a contender to make a trade up for Barron:
14. Dallas Cowboys, Michael Brockers, DE, LSU
Dallas is a candidate to move up with Barron in their sights. In this scenario they settle for Brockers, a mountain of a man loaded with talent needing some refining.
The Cowboys' first round pick seems to have shrunk down to a two-man race - stay put and likely take Brockers, a run-stuffer with raw but promising talent, or make a move up to take Barron, who SB Nation projects goes to Kansas City, and with Eric Berry, creates one of the beset secondaries in the NFL.
