Baylor Vs. Kentucky Final Scores: Wildcats Too Much For Bears, Lose 82-70

For about four-plus minutes the Baylor Bears were looking good against No. 1 seeded Kentucky Wildcats, but after that it was all down hill for Baylor. At the 16:20 mark in the first half Baylor led 10-5, but after that their offense went cold while Kentucky went on a 16-0 run to put Baylor away midway through the first half. At the break Baylor trailed Kentucky 42-22. Baylor made a small dent in the second half but lost 82-70.

In the second half the closest Baylor could get would be within 10 points and that was with under one minute left in the game. The Baylor offense struggled all afternoon and shot only 39 percent from the field and went 4-of-14 from three-point range. As for Kentucky they shot 54 percent from the field and went to the free throw line 44 times while making 30. Kentucky had four players in double figures with Anthony Davis having the best game by scoring 18 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and blocking six shots.
