NCAA Bracket: Baylor Lands In South Region, Could Face UNLV

The good news for Baylor, who received all of their losses in conference play, is that only one other Big 12 team (No. 8 seed Iowa State) is in their regional.

If the Bears can advance past a feisty South Dakota State team, they could face a tough second-round game against No. 6 UNLV, who defeated UNC earlier in the year and have been widely considered as a dark-horse Final Four contender all season.

Looming later in the bracket is No. 2 Duke, who knocked off Baylor in the 2010 Elite Eight, as well as No. 1 overall seed Kentucky. NBA scouts would love to see a Baylor/Kentucky game with match-ups of future lottery picks in Perry Jones III vs. Anthony Davis and Quincy Miller vs. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
