Missouri and Baylor have gotten off to a frenetic start in the first half of the Big 12 Tournament Championship in Kansas City Saturday.
With Kansas' loss to the Bears in the semifinals, both teams have the opportunity to improve their seeding in the NCAA Tournament with a win.
The Tigers have been led in the scoring column by senior G Marcus Denmon, who has rebounded from one of the worst performances of his career, a 2 point effort on 0-10 shooting against Texas on Friday. His best play came on a fast break, where he used his body to attack the chest of 6'11 235 Perry Jones III and score with a reverse lay-up:
Jones got his revenge a few minutes later, displaying his jaw-dropping combination of length, athleticism and skill level in rejecting Denmon above the rim and leading the fast break:
