The Bears look to take care of business against the basement-dwelling Red Raiders on Senior Night in Waco.
While a win against Texas Tech Monday night won't do much for Baylor's national reputation, a loss would against a team with an 8-20 record would be devastating.
The Red Raiders have struggled mightily in their first year under former Texas A&M and Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie, as the talent base in Lubbock simply isn't strong enough to compete on a nightly basis in the Big 12.
However, they did almost pull off a major upset of Texas on Saturday, losing by only four points.
Coming out flat shouldn't be a problem for Baylor on Monday, as the school honors a senior class (Quincy Acy, Anthony Jones) which helped put the program on the map.
Acy, an athletic 6'7 245 forward who has become a legitimate NBA prospect by expanding his mid-range game, is often called the "heart and soul" of the team. Jones, a 6'10 forward who started on the Elite Eight team in 2009, has seen his role decrease with the emergence of Quincy Miller this year.
In the first game between the two teams this season, Baylor won 73-60 in Lubbock.
The 8:00 PM game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
