The Baylor Bears wrapped up their regular season with a win over the No. 23 Oklahoma State Cowboys. The victory marked the team’s second win against a ranked opponent in three weeks.
The Bears were led by quarterback Nick Florence and running back Lache Seastrunk. Florence finished the game with 296 yards passing and a touchdown to go with another 71 yards on the ground and a rushing score. Seastrunk marched for 178 yards and a touchdown on only 16 carries.
Mark C. Moore of Our Daily Bears couldn’t be happier with the outcome despite the fact that Baylor’s offense misfired in the red zone and through much of the second half:
Any questions that might have existed about Baylor's resolve have been answered. Any doubts you may have had about whether we could continue building on 2011 should be gone. At one point in this season, 7-5 was an impossible dream. Now it is reality.
