The Baylor Bears will look to close out their 2012 regular season with a third straight victory on Saturday against Oklahoma State.
Fresh off their fifth performance this season with at least 50 points scored, the Baylor Bears will welcome Oklahoma State to Waco this Saturday in a showdown between two of the most underrated squads in the Big 12.
The Bears have only dropped one game all season long at Floyd Casey Stadium, and will enter the weekend after a thrilling overtime win against Texas Tech in Week 13. The victory over the Red Raiders officially punched the bowl ticket for Art Briles' team despite its meager 3-5 record in conference play, and the Bears will try to cap off a strong campaign on a high note.
Slotted to play in the Meineke Car Care Bowl according to SB Nation's latest bowl projections, the Bears currently are in possession of the No. 6 seed in the Big 12. A win over the current No. 3 team in the league could do wonders for Baylor's bowl status, and would very likely mean a trip to either the Holiday Bowl or Armed Forces Bowl could be on the horizon. For that to happen, though, Baylor will need to shut down an Oklahoma State passing attack that ranks seventh in the nation with 332.6 yards per game. Despite starting three separate quarterbacks throughout the year, the Cowboys are sure to be one of the most dangerous aerial attacks the Baylor secondary will face this season.
