St. Mary's Vs. Baylor: Game Preview, TV Schedule

The St. Mary's Gaels men's basketball team faces the No. 6 Baylor Bears in the 2011 Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic Thursday night.

The No. 6 Baylor Bears men's basketball team has rolled through an early season cake schedule and are undefeated headed into their December 22 game against the St. Mary's Gaels. This will likely be their first test of the 2011 season and it's a rematch of the 2010 NCAA South Region Semifinal.

The Bears are led by sophomore forward/center Perry Jones III (16.2 points per game) and senior forward Quincy Acy (12.8 points per game). The 10-1 Gaels are led by senior forward Rob Jones (14.6 points per game) and junior guard Matthew Dellavedova (14.1 points per game).

The Sweet-16 rematch is being played in Las Vegas as part of the 2011 Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic and has the makings of a close, exciting game. This is Baylor's first game of a tough three-game stretch which includes West Virginia and No. 17 Mississippi State. St. Mary's has lost four straight games against top-25 opponents.

Game Time/Date: Thursday, December 22; 10:30 p.m. ET
