Born and raised in Dallas, I've been a sports fanatic for as long as I can remember and I'm obsessed with anything to do with Dallas sports. I started off as a blogger/writer covering the Cowboys for Blogging The Boys before moving on to found Defending Big D. I have also been the hockey manager for SB Nation and was previously the lead NHL editor for SBNation.com. After founding Pro Hockey Talk for NBC Sports working for NBC for six months, covering the Stanley Cup Finals and the NHL Draft, I'm proud to be back here at SBN. After nearly a decade away, I'm on my way back to Dallas and looking forward to not having to pay to watch Cowboys and Stars games.
