The Big 12 features five teams in the top 14.
The latest college football coaches poll has a definite Big 12 flavor to it. The conference with the best non-conference record so far has six of its ten teams rated in the top 25 and two more int he others receiving votes category.
West Virginia, Kansas State, and Texas are all in a row at 7-8-9 with TCU at No. 13 and Oklahoma at No. 14. Texas Tech is the sixth team rated at No. 24 this week, while Baylor and Oklahoma State received votes despite losses.
Texas A&M sits just outside the top 25 at No. 27 overall with 61 votes.
