FC Dallas' tie with the Seattle Sounders didn't hurt FC Dallas' playoff chances. It just didn't help FC Dallas' playoff chances, either.
FC Dallas remains in sixth place in the Western Conference, following Sunday's tie against Seattle. Unfortunately for FC Dallas, though, sixth place is on the outside looking in of the playoff picture.
The San Jose Earthquakes (53 points), Real Salt Lake (46 points), Seattle Sounders FC (44 points), LA Galaxy (43 points) and Vancouver Whitecaps (37 points) all lead FC Dallas (33 points) in the standings.
FC Dallas has five games remaining on the schedule, including a date against Vancouver -- who FC Dallas has the best chance of catching for a playoff berth.
