Tour Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Tiger Woods, Justin Rose Hold Lead After First Day

Tigers Woods and Justin Rose both finished at 4-under, tied for the lead after the first day of the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Ga. Woods shot six birdies along with two bogeys to finish his round at 66.

Woods, along with Rory McIlroy, Nick Watney and Phil Mickelson, is in the running for the Fed Ex Cup, and could earn points this weekend in Atlanta.

Scott Piercy, Bo Van Pelt, Matt Kuchar and Steve Stricker all tied for third place at 3-under.

Texas native Hunter Mahan shot 2-under to start the Tour Championship, tying him for seventh place with Adam Scott, Robert Garrigus, Zach Johnson and Brandt Snedeker.
