Texas A&M Vs. SMU Odds 2012: Aggies Favored By Ten

Stay connected for news and updates

Both SMU and Texas A&M have played one game against an FBS team in 2012.

The Mustangs were absolutely shellacked by Baylor in a 59-24 beating in Week 1, while the Aggies were outlasted by Florida in a 20-17 thriller in Week 2.

SMU was on the road in Waco while A&M had the benefit of a boisterous home crowd in their first game as a member of the SEC, but that alone hardly seems to justify the Aggies being favored by only -10.5 points this Saturday.

To make matters worse, the Hilltop will hardly be a home-field advantage for the Mustangs, not with the number of alumni Texas A&M has in the Metroplex.

In Week 1, the Mustangs defense allowed Nick Florence to do his best RG3 imitation. They'll have to do a lot better against freshman Johnny Manziel to keep the game within 10 points on Saturday.
