Rangers Vs. Yankees: Wednesday's Starting Lineups

Stay connected for news and updates

Ron Washington and the Texas Rangers look to get back on track Wednesday night in the Bronx, after dropping the first two games of a four-game series against the New York Yankees.

Not surprisingly, Washington has made adjustments to the starting lineup. Both he and Joe Girardi have announced the starting lineups for Wednesday night's contest, and they are as follows:

Texas Rangers

2B Ian Kinsler
SS Elvis Andrus
CF Josh Hamilton
3B Adrian Beltre
RF Nelson Cruz
LF David Murphy
C Geovany Soto
DH Mitch Moreland
1B Mike Olt

SP Scott Feldman

New York Yankees

SS Derek Jeter
1B Nick Swisher
CF Curtis Granderson
DH Mark Teixeira
3B Eric Chavez
LF Raul Ibanez
C Russell Martin
RF Ichiro Suzuki
2B Jayson Nix

SP Freddy Garcia

Rangers fans can rejoice for today is a rare day: Michael Young is squarely on the bench. Enjoy it while it lasts, as there's little doubt that Young will be back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

Robinson Cano is a notable omission from New York's lineup.
