2012 London Olympic Medal Count: United States Will Best China

The London Olympics are ending on Sunday, but the medal count winner has already been decided. The United States now have a commanding lead over China with 102 total medals to 87 for China. Throughout the Olympics the United States and China rotated the medal lead, but over the past few days the United States slowly pulled away over China.

The latest medals that Team USA won came from the women's basketball team that won gold over France, women's volleyball won silver after falling to Brazil, bronze in women's cross-country mountain biking and others.

Here is how the top five looks in the latest medal count:

1. United States, 102 (44 gold, 29 silver, 29 bronze)
2. China, 87 (38, 27, 22)
3. Russia, 78 (21, 25, 32)
4. Great Britain, 62 (28, 15, 19)
5/ Germany, 44 (11, 19, 14)
