Rangers Vs. Tigers Game 2 Lineup: Derek Holland Going Up Against Justin Verlander

The Texas Rangers are looking to bounce back from their 6-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers, and the Rangers are sending out Derek Holland to go up against Justin Verlander. Holland is only 7-6 with a 5.18 ERA while Verlander has a more impressive stat line with a 12-7 record and an ERA 2.51.

Verlander struggles on the road and has lost his last two starts away from Comerica Park with a 5.25 ERA. As for Holland, he has struggled over his last four starts with a 1-2 record and a 7.00 ERA.

Catcher Mike Napoli is not in the lineup as he landed on the disabled list with a strained left quad, and in his place will be Geovany Soto.
