Texas Rangers Have Three Prospects In Baseball America's Revised Top 50

Baseball America released an updated top 50 prospects list today, and as you'd expect out of Baseball America's top ranked organization headed into the year, the Texas Rangers placed three prospects in the top 50.

Jurickson Profar comes in as the No. 2 prospect in all of baseball, and frankly, you can make a pretty convincing case that he is the top prospect in all of baseball. Dylan Bundy, however, is a worthy choice for No. 1. There truly aren't enough superlatives for either Profar or Bundy.

Mike Olt, who figures to be the apple of Milwaukee's eye in any Zack Greinke discussions, has been ranked as the No. 11 prospect in all of baseball. Olt is putting up monster numbers in AA, and if his bat continues to hit this much, he could easily be seen as a viable option at first base for the Rangers.

Cody Buckel is Texas' latest and greatest top 50 prospect, and the folks at Baseball America put him at No. 41. As a 20 year old, Buckel carved up the Carolina League before a promotion to AA. Though he's not dominant at the AA level, he's just 20 years old -- and he's holding his own.

If you want to discuss the rankings with Rangers fans, head over to Lone Star Ball and join the discussion.
