The 2012 British Open features local headliners such as Hunter Mahan and Todd Hamilton.

The 2012 British Open gets underway on Jan. 19 with Hunter Mahan and Todd Hamilton among local headliners. Mahan is a resident of Colleyville and Hamilton lives in Westlake.

Check out the odds for the tournament here. Tiger Woods is the odds-on favorite to win. It would be his first Major Championship win in over four years. Mahan was given a 40/1 odds to win, but this is obviously anyone's tournament for the taking.

Mahan most recently finished tied for 8th in the AT&T National and 11th in the June 21 Travelers Championship.
