Oswalt will make his Rangers debut tonight against Colorado.
Moreland suffered the injury on Tuesday against the Padres running out a double-play ball. He left the game in the second inning after the injury. With Moreland still ailing, the decision to put him on the DL became obvious, especially since he is expected to miss around a month.
This season, Moreland is hitting .272 with 10 home runs and 25 RBIs.
