Roy Oswalt makes his Texas Rangers and AL debut against a Rockies team he knows very well.
Roy Oswalt couldn't have picked a better time to start as an AL pitcher. As the Rangers host the Rockies in Interleague play, Oswalt makes his debut with Texas against a Colorado team he's dominated. Oswalt is 8-2 all-time against the Rockies, and his 1.94 ERA against the club is his lowest against any NL team. On to of Oswalt's historic success. the Rockies are 1-11 in Interleague play this year.
First baseman Mitch Moreland is likely to land on the disabled list after a hamstring injury in San Diego, with announcement slated to come Friday.
