Rangers Tearing Through Tough Spot
Nine games in to a tough 15 game stretch where simply winning eight probably should have been considered fine, the Texas Rangers have already won seven games.
In what might represent the best chance their supposed competition to make up ground, the Rangers have stormed through their opponents 62-28, including a fresh 13-10 series victory over probably the second best team in the league. The Angels in that stretch have gone 2-5.
Divisions are not clinched in April, but this might be the earliest you could imagine playoff positioning being more of an immediate concern than simply getting in.
Let’s hope our expectations can keep getting shattered.
