Texas looks to take its seventh win in eight midweek games this year against Texas State at 6 p.m. in Austin Tuesday.
Freshman Dillon Peters (3-0, 2.57) takes the ball for the No. 23 'Horns after striking out four in two shutout innings of relief in Game Two of Saturday's doubleheader against Oklahoma State. The Texas staff as a whole has been dominating at home this season, posting a 1.46 ERA in 15 games.
Texas beat the then No. 20 Bobcats 6-1 in a March 13 game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Texas leads the overall series 36-9, including 27 wins in 35 contests since Augie Garrido took the reins in Austin.
