The 2012 NCAA Womens Final Four will pull off something the mens' bracket has never done - a Final Four featuring all four No. 1 seeds. Undefeated Baylor, the favorite to win it all, was joined in the Final Four Tuesday night by UConn and Notre Dame, setting up the following games in Denver, Colorado, this weekend:
Sunday, April 1: #1 UConn vs. #1 Notre Dame, 5:30 p.m. CT, ESPN
Sunday, April 1: #1 Baylor Vs. #1 Stanford, 8 p.m. CT, ESPN
The Lady Bears will return to the national semifinals for the second time in three seasons, and has a chance to make history. According to the Baylor athletics site, no team in mens or womens basketball has ever finished a season with 40 wins, a mark the Bears could reach without a loss.
