The Texas Longhorns trail the Oklahoma Sooners 37-33 at halftime in a game that is critical to the Longhorns' NCAA Tournament hopes. At 8-8 in the Big 12, Texas is looking to climb above the .500 mark in conference play but will need to defeat the Sooners to do so.
Sheldon McClellan leads the Longhorns with 12 points in the first half while J'Covan Brown has eight. Sterling Gibbs came off the bench to add five. Texas was just 12-29 from the field in the first half and just 2-11 from three-point range.
Romero Osby has 11 points to lead the Sooners and Steven Pledger chipped in eight. Andrew Fitzgerald and Cameron Clark added six points each.
