The Baylor Bears are considered a lock as a No. 2 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, but if they lose to the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, they could be a No. 3 selection, according to SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean.
The NCAA men's basketball tournament and March Madness is about a month away and there isn't much use in speculating who will make it into the tournament and who won't. However, SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean has made predictions on which teams are locks, which are on the bubble and which are out at the moment.
One of the teams that he believes are a lock at the moment at the No. 2 seed are the Baylor Bears but they could fall down to a No. 3 seed if they lose to the Missouri Tigers this weekend.
As for the teams that sit third and fourth on the S-curve, both the Tigers and Buckeyes face significant tests on Saturday. Missouri holds the edge over its Big 12 rivals, thanks to owning wins against both. If the Tigers complete a season sweep of Baylor Saturday, they will be further entrenched on the top line, while the Bears could potentially be staring down a No. 3 seed. Meanwhile, Ohio State hosts Michigan State, a team that is looking the make its way to the group of second seeds--and potentially all the way up to the top line by the end of the season.
The Bears are currently sitting at No. 4 in the AP Poll and have a 21-3 record (8-3 in the Big 12) and if they avoid getting swept by the Tigers on Saturday, they could be a lock for a No. 2 seed, but it seems that even if they lose to No. 4 Missouri, they'll be heading to the tournament anyways.

Bracketology: Baylor No. 3 Seed In Latest SB Nation Prediction
According to SB Nation's Chris Dobbertean, the Baylor Bears men's basketball team, who were previously considered to be a lock as a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament, have fallen to a No. 3 seed after back-to-back losses to the Kansas Jayhawks and the Missouri Tigers.
The Bears, as a No. 3 seed, are predicted to face off against the Akron Zips (18-7, 10-1 MAC) in the first round, and if they get past that round, they would play the winner between BYU Cougars and the Creighton Bluejays.
Baylor has six games left, none of which are against ranked opponents, and can still improve their standings when it comes to their seed in the tournament if they finish the regular season strong.
