Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Murray, Lissemore, Jenkins don't practice

Layne Murdoch

The Cowboys have another long injury report just 72 hours before the team takes on division rival Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys look more like the walking wounded as half a dozen players sat out Thursday's practice. Running back DeMarco Murray missed practice again, as his foot injury continues to cause issues. As Murray continues to deal with his injury, running back Felix Jones was a full participant for the second straight day while dealing with a banged up knee. Center Phil Costa sat out practice again today with an ankle injury, while wide receiver Dez Bryant was a full participant for a second consecutive day.

The news isn't as good on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive end Sean Lissemore sat out of practice again with an ankle injury, nose tackle Jay Ratliff was also sidelined with an ankle issue and safety Matt Johnson didn't participate with a hamstring injury. Linebacker Dan Connor was limited in practice with a neck injury for the second straight day.

This Sunday's game with the Philadelphia Eagles is a crucial one for Dallas. Both teams enter the game at 3-5, and if the New York Giants beat the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, the loser of the Dallas and Philadelphia tilt will find themselves three games back in the NFC East.
