The Longhorns slip seven spots after their disappointing 20-13 loss to their nearby foes, the TCU Horned Frogs.
The Texas Longhorns slide down seven spots to the 25th ranking in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll, but their next game could provide a big chance at redemption.
The Longhorns (8-3, 5-3) fell 20-13 to the TCU Horned Frogs (7-4, 4-4) in an upset loss at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin this past week. Texas has a prime opportunity to get back in the good graces of the voting public when they take on the No. 7 Kansas State Wildcats this week in Manhattan, Kansas. A huge upset win on the road would likely catapult Mack Brown's squad up the list.
TCU didn't factor into this week's BlogPoll; neither did the Baylor Bears and SMU Mustangs.
