The Cowboys will face the Panthers without DeMarco Murray
The Dallas Cowboys will try to climb back to .500 Sunday as they visit the slumping Carolina Panthers. The 2-3 Cowboys will face the 1-4 Panthers without running DeMarco Murray, who will sit the game out with an ankle injury. The Cowboys could also be without wide receiver Dez Bryant, who did not practice Friday due to a groin injury. Bryant's status remains uncertain.
The Panthers have lost three straight, but are coming off their bye week. Both teams enter the game with worse-than-expected records. While this game is important to the Cowboys' hopes of keeping the playoffs in sight, the game is important to the Panthers' hopes of keeping the season from spiraling completely out of control.
